Ultraviolet absorber UV-1164 bruges som lysstabilisator, velegnet til polyoxymethylen, polyamid, polycarbonat, polyethylen, polyetheramin, ABS-harpiks og polymethylmethacrylat osv. Den er især velegnet til nylon og ingeniørplast.Anbefalet dosering: polyethylen 0,2-0,4%;polycarbonat 0,15-0,3%;ABS-harpiks 0,3-0,5%.
